Glossary(2) Valet boxes ・these are boxes designed for men used for the storage of watches, keys, billfolds, cufflinks, rings and other important men's keepsakes.
Sandalwood ・a type of natural wood from the genus Santalum , used for incense, perfume, aromatherapy, in alternative medicine as well as in carpentry.
Softwood ・wood from conifers generally refer to softwood. These include pine, spruce, cedar, fir, larch, douglas-fir, hemlock, cypress, redwood and yew. They are used in the manufacture of paper and creation of chipboards as well as in structural building components and furniture.
Mahogany ・this wood is closely related to Swietenis macrophylla which has gained popularity for its use in making furniture. It is easy to work with, stable and has a beautiful reddish hue when polished.
Oak ・It is used as part of the common name of hundreds of species of trees and shrubs in the genus Quercus . These include the deciduous and evergreen species.
Teak ・It is a genus of tropical hardwood trees in the family Verbenaceae , which is also called Jati. The most important species is the Common Teak. It is used in the production of furniture, boat decks and other things which require weather resistance.
